ISRO receives Indo-US jointly developed NISAR satellite, here's everything you need to know

 

NISAR, an Earth-observation satellite, is being jointly developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It arrived in Bengaluru on a US Air Force C-17 aircraft.


BengaluruMarking a milestone in the US-India space collaboration, the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar NISAR was handed over to the Indian space agency on Wednesday. The satellite arrived in Bengaluru on a US Air Force C-17 aircraft, reports said.
